Wedding Stamps

With the cool new ability to create custom stamps provided by zazzle and stamps.com as well as other sites I'm sure I have decided to try my hand at it. I have recently started to create wedding postage stamps. I feel that my photography lends itself more to that genre then probably any other. So if you are soon to be tying the knot check out my new website which focuses on wedding stamps and unique wedding ideas. I hope it is helpful I've tried to match as many stamps with cards and invitations as possible. And I categorized them into categories such as "save the date stamps", "Wedding invitations and stamps", "bridal stamps and cards" and "wedding thank you notes and postage stamps". Please check it out when you get the chance and if your feeling extra generous let others know about weddingstamps.net as well.

About me and this site

I have been using my camera (Canon Digital Rebel 300D) for quite a while now (since 2004) and just haven't gotten around to creating a site until now which is sad. Creating websites has been my day job for the last 10 years. For now I am treating this site as a place to post my photography projects (night, HDR, some portraits but mainly close-up or "macro" work) and info that I have learned over the years that has helped me. I am also posting links to posters, greeting cards etc. that I have created. I hope you like my work. Please feel free to comment. Let me know what you think is cool, not cool and please let me know if you've discovered better ways of doing things than I have. I love the learning process and strive to get better.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) Night Photography

The photos in this set were an experiment in seeing what effect HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology would have on night photography. I thought it was pretty interesting. In some shots (the shots I took at the playground) the color was pretty shocking to me. It was a bright night (nearly full moon). I think the lighting along with the tone mapping (using Photomatix Pro) enhanced the colors. Some look like a strange feeling day (mainly because I boosted the levels in Photoshop ). I know the subject matter isn't the most interesting but it was about the HDR/night experiment for me.

If you have a minute please let me know your thoughts/ideas on the subject...
